After driving the ball miles left, Schwartzel didn’t do what most of us would have tried, a hack back into the fairway in the hope of making par. Instead, the South African hit a blind shot to within a few feet of the hole and recorded a birdie proving that he who dares does indeed win.

As for the event itself, 11 holes into his final round, Ireland’s Padraig Harrington sits just two shots back from leader Branden Grace on -8.
